Trendscouting® - an innovative research programme
for the early detection and evaluation of trends:
Trends cannot be dictated. Trends can also not be predicted
via simple statistical extrapolation.
Trends are born within a social context. Not everywhere, but
in certain specific innovative milieus. From there they then
spread- in modified form - via certain mediator milieus to
the mass market. As such they are not only relevant to "hip"
youth scenes, but also to "normal" consumers and
product segments.
In order to be able to act correctly in time it is necessary
to detect and understand trends and their consequences for
the target group as early as possible.
